The values of AgroParisTech and SUEZ
The 2 pillars of TEACHING and RESEARCH, the values of trainers, coaches, researchers and the teaching and research team behind the activities, bring together :
- Professionalism, a spirit of openness and humility in the face of the complex challenges that our managers have to overcome on their assignments in the South.
- Water and Sanitation for All” is a symbol of ourcommitment to providing people living in cities in the South, whatever their circumstances, with access to water and sanitation that gives them dignity in their daily lives.
- A sense of sharing knowledge and building trust with our managers and researchers. Listening and self-sacrifice to help them take on greater responsibilities as public service leaders.
Imbued with ethics and integrity, we believe that the keys to change are also the leadership and management values of a company that lead all human resources towards success and sustainable performance.

Governance
The Chair is governed by a Strategic Steering Committee, an Advisory Steering Committee, a Teaching Council and a Scientific Committee.
These four bodies meet 1 to 4 times a year, depending on the body. They examine the results and progress of training programmes, the resources allocated to them, and the implementation of research projects and events. This is monitored closely and coherently around an integrated action plan.

Become a partner and obtain cooperation for water
The Chair is open to partnerships as part of its teaching and research activities. As such, specific criteria are examined for any partnership.
For teaching, the reputation and excellence of a partner in terms of knowledge transfer in management, particularly in public service management, and with an international and executive connotation, are strong points. These opportunities are considered in the light of the Chair’s strategic priorities.
For research, research establishments involved in our themes, wishing to build projects in the field in our areas of application and in developing or emerging countries, will meet identical criteria. We favour centres of excellence in the South in this context.
Financial partners or sponsors are likely to be able to collaborate and support our programmes. Such approaches are examined by the COS and the founding members if they correspond to the general guidelines.
