The Montpellier campus

Dedicated to training and research on tropical ecosystems, geo-information and water, the Montpellier centre is one of eight AgroParisTech centres. It is located on the Agropolis International campus.

The areas of activity covered are: remote sensing and spatial information systems, management of water and aquatic environments (processes, services, uses, global management and governance), environmental management of ecosystems and tropical forests. (policies in an international context, management and assessment of management systems, ecological engineering and global change).

The training and research teams at the Montpellier centre

Water

The Water Collective offers and participates in a wide range of training programs (three master’s degrees, two Advanced Master’s degrees, an in-depth focus program, and short continuing education courses) in France and abroad. The collective’s training and research activities are carried out in Montpellier by the UMR Water Management, Stakeholders, Uses / UMR LISAH and UMR TETIS.

Environmental Management

This training and research group at AgroParisTech offers several specialized courses in ecosystem management: three master’s degrees, an Advanced Master’s degree, an in-depth focus program, and a doctoral program. These programs have a strong international dimension.

It comprises four joint research units: UMR Eco&Sols, UMR MRM, UMR SENS, and UMR AMAP.

Geomatics and Remote Sensing

Based at the Maison de la Télédétection (MTD), these courses offer one Master’s degree, one Advanced Master’s degree, short continuing education courses, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies.
It is made up of three research teams: MISCA, USIG, and ATTOS.
