She had the privilege of contributing as a speaker at FENASAN 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, during the session on “International Careers in the Water Sector: Connecting Expertise, Impact and Cooperation.”
The session provided a valuable platform to reflect on how professional expertise, international cooperation and knowledge exchange can strengthen the water and sanitation sector.
Drawing from her experience in customer management at Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company, she values the important role that customer engagement, effective communication and people-centred service delivery play in building trust and improving utility performance.
Water and sanitation services are not only about infrastructure. They are also about people, dignity, public health, customer experience and sustainable development.
Participating in this international forum reinforced her belief that the water sector can achieve greater impact when professionals share experiences across borders, learn from diverse approaches and work collaboratively.
She is grateful to the organisers and fellow speakers for creating an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and professional exchange.
