The AgroParisTech Chair “SUEZ – General Management of Urban Water and Sanitation Services” through its ADVANCED MASTER “Water for All” – OpT offers short training courses made up of 30 modules. They are on-line or face-to-face modules.
They can be grouped by Thematic Unit such as:
- “Management, strategy and leadership” – 12 modules
- “Governance, institutions and economics” – 9 modules
- “Social, environmental and territorial engineering” – 9 modules
In 2025, deux specialized Thematic Units:
- Water: 11 modules
- Sanitation: 12 modules
These short courses will enable you to acquire more knowledge and know-how on subjects specific to your water and/or wastewater service, or to the sector in the broadest sense.
They are taugh in English.
The teaching is done by professionals with at least 10 years of international experience in the field.
Tailor-made training courses can be offered on request. These can take place in France or abroad in your company.

PEDAGOGICAL OBJECTIVES
- Explain the dynamics of multi-stakeholder governance in the management of water and sanitation services.
- Analyze the role of institutions in stakeholder coordination and decision-making.
- Implement coordination mechanisms to improve multi-stakeholder governance and the coherence of actions.
- Understand the principles and issues of public-private partnerships in water and sanitation services.
- Analyze the opportunities and risks associated with contracting services with private actors.
- Understand the tools of regulation: contracts, performance indicators, tariff

- Mapping the institutional players and their interactions in the management of water and sanitation services.
- Coordinating multi-stakeholder actions to strengthen the consistency and performance of services.
